Elegant Mercer Island Reface
Our clients wanted to update their kitchen without completely gutting the kitchen and starting over. They had updated other areas of the home and wanted the "new" kitchen to reflect their tastes and style.
A reface was perfect. They liked the general layout of the kitchen but wanted to keep as many of the existing cabinets as possible. There was one major change, and that was the range. They went from a 30" range to a 48" range. Along with the new appliance, they needed a new hood and decided that a wood hood cabinet would help them create the look they desired.
New cabinets on each side of the range and hood were provided along with a new matching painted hood.

The existing island cabinets were rearranged then refaced, adding a waterfall end to both sides of the island. This created a more spacious feel and contemporary look.
The tired tile backsplash was replaced with matching Cambria "Skara Brae" full-height backsplash.
NorthWest Stone Fabricators did a masterful job of matching the movement by having the veining travel up the wall in sync with the island countertop.
Beautiful new gold-tone glass pendants finish the upscale refresh.

The sink cabinet was modified for the Kohler Whitehaven apron-front sink. A beautiful Brizo Artesso faucet and matching soap dispenser in Luxe Gold provide function and elegance.

New refrigerator and dishwasher panels matching the cabinetry were installed. We had the refrigerator grill painted to match the perimeter cabinets which helped to create a cleaner look.
All of our refaces include new soft-close doors, edgebanding at openings to match the cabinetry, and new finished-to-match crown molding and light valance.
Many of our clients opt to have the drawers replaced with soft-close, full-extension dove-tailed drawer boxes.
We added shiplap to the kitchen nook walls which added a coziness and fresh new look.
